Operation Christmas Child was founded by Dave and Gill Cooke in 1990. Each November thousands of donors prepare individually wrapped shoeboxes with toys, stationery, colouring supplies, small gifts and teddy bears. This initiative has so far seen over 157 million children in over 160 countries receive shoeboxes from the charity.
Support for Operation Christmas Child was suggested by Jamie-Leigh Dyball, who works in our Post Completions Department, Jamie-Leigh commented;
“Being a mum myself I care about children, I feel every child deserves to receive a gift at Christmas, and Operation Christmas Child enables lots of children across the world to receive one. We chose this charity as it is a global cause and many of the team’s family and friends are getting involved by donating boxes. It’s a great thing to get involved in this time of the year.”
MJP Conveyancing have donated a number of Shoeboxes to this fantastic cause, we filled our boxes with everything from toys, stuffed animals, arts & crafts, hygiene items and other essential items.
