MJP Conveyancing are delighted to announce that key staff are to start training contract.

MJP Conveyancing are delighted to announce that four key members of the team have started their Training Contracts and are on their paths towards qualifying as Solicitors.

The group is made up of; Emma Soulby, Head of Sales joined MJP Conveyancing in 2015 after graduating from the University of East Anglia. Sophie Goodman of the Exchange and Completion team joined us in 2016 from The University of South Wales, Ben Pett who studied at the University of Warwick joined us in 2015 and is part of our Purchasing team, and Thomas Barnes of the Purchase team joined us in 2015 from The University of East Anglia.

Thomas had this to say about working at MJP “Having joined MJP as a fresh-faced graduate, I have learned throughout my time here to develop and grow not only in terms of my legal skills, practicing the knowledge I gained on my degree and LPC. Also capitalising on my inter-personal skills and seizing the opportunities placed in front of me. I have been trusted with my own files, dealt with complex and interesting transactions and had client contact from day one of my time here at MJP.

Being offered a training contract is a delight to me as it shows the investment David Pett and the other Directors are willing to make in the future of the business and growth of our system. I am privileged to be a part of the biggest trainee cohort which MJP has ever taken on and will look to make the most of the time with the other trainees allows us to bounce of and learn from one another.

The training contract will hopefully allow us to generate more business but also to flourish as individuals and really find our feet, before establishing ourselves as qualified Solicitors. I anticipate the work will be tough but look forward to and enjoy the challenge. I hope to gain a wider and clearer understanding, developing my legal skills to enable me to forge a prosperous legal career. Here’s to the next 18 months of hard work and learning!”
